Signs of Early Spring

I love the contrasting colors - yellow, red and green.

A newly grown Stinging Nettle! A sure sign of an early spring.

And the very rare and elusive Potato Head Bush is in full bloom.

  1. I SAW that potato head bush the last time I was over! lol

I can hardly wait for the stinging nettles to grow--I'm gonna get me a mess of 'em and cook 'em up to eat---I'm going to make some tinctures and dry some. (grin)

These pictures are great, Sissy! I especially love the cloud of colors in the first one.

    Love you!

  2. Wow! I can't believe you were able to capture the ever illusive Potato-head bloom. I've been trying for years and haven't been able to capture that magical hour of bloomage. You my dear are an adventurer and a stealth photographer! Being at the right place at exactly the right time.... Amazing! And you must have special powers as you've even captured the lil' cutie with a grin and a wave... Awesome photos.

The days here are getting longer but I haven't captured any early signs of spring yet... Thank you for sharing yours.
Blessings to you and yours. Love and Light, Nina P
