Beaver Dam - Weekend Reflections

A 15 minute walk from my couch.
The beaver dam!

With signs of beaver life ...
And reflections of the surrounding forest ...

So why don't I come here more often?
I'm not sure ... maybe it's because of the rain.
Maybe it's because it's a hard hike down into the canyon ...
Maybe it's because I forget it's there?

Whatever the reason, I vow to return.
As soon as the rain stops.
Or when I can find my boots ...
