Honeysuckle Flowers

Mom's honeysuckles are starting to bloom.

They start out white, then turn yellow within a few days ...

How I wish you could breathe in this heavenly aroma!

  1. Aaaah, I'm so envious--and these photos are so beautiful. So far I've not been able to catch a good pic of these fragrant flowers. I love honeysuckle--one of these days!!!!

These pictures fill my eyes, Honey.

  2. Thanks for reminding me. My grandmother had them all over her fence like a huge blanket. I loved them! You did a nice job with the photos.

  4. It takes me back to my childhood. My grandmother loved honeysuckle. I use to take the flower, pull out the middle and suck the sweet nectar out. Yummmy, it taste just like honey ;)

  5. Yes, just like what Pam did, I used to pull out the middle of the flower and taste the sweet nectar. What fond memories your pictures evoke. :)
