Bees Everywhere!

Yesterday was another 'bee' kind of day.
This time they weren't sleeping - they were busy!
Gathering pollen from the flowering thistles ...

There must be more than enough pollen to go around!

  2. Beautiful photographs again Clytie. I dont know how much the bees can collect from a thistle flower, but sometimes they gather almost ten bees on one.
..Check this post of mine to see something similar to this post of yours...

  3. Hello Clytie; I see you've visited and commented on my picture. To be honest, I'm not sure what kind of flower it is.....but it was growing "wild" in my mother in law's back yard! Thank goodness for the birds or we'd never have anything to photograph! I'm going to enlarge it too and possibly print it out so I can frame it; its too pretty not to have in my house.
