  1. What wonderful photos. I never knew the names of these flowers. To me, they look nothing like nettles, but (grin) that's okay.

    Remember when we would pick these flowers by the handful, then pluck the flowers to suck the sweet nectar from them?

    I taught our darling little niece how to do this--she loves these flowers as much as we did when we were kids.

    These lovely little blossoms remind me so much of our childhood, Sissy.

  2. I didn't know they were nettles! In my yard they are weeds! Very pretty weeds however that I have yet to even get a shot of. I think this will be my next macro study. thanks for the inspiration! Great photos too! :-)

  4. In case you're curious ... they're called 'dead' nettles because they don't have stinging barbs like the stinging nettles have!
