Living Dangerously - Weekend Reflections

While waiting for my uncle to get out of the doctor's office, I took a short walk. I happened upon a flock of geese near the main road and watched as they wandered closer and closer to the traffic that zoomed by ... apparently unconcerned.

To my relief, the geese seemed to understand the dangers, and stuck to the grass.

The ducks, on the other hand, played it safe ... coming close only to the reflections of the cars in the background.

  1. THOSE are cool pictures! I LOVE them! Great reflections, Sissy!

  2. Nice reflections! And nice geese too;o)

    Happy weekend****

  3. Thank you for visiting. Do these geese fly south. We have white geese here in Auckland, they are in a park, and seldom venture to the road.

    Great reflections!

  4. Nice one! Good eye!
    Thanks for your visit.

  5. Thanks so much for your kind comments on my blog and the best part is that they brought me here to your blog which is a treasure of all things natural. Your photos are wonderful and I have really enjoyed spending time enjoying them.

  6. Great pair of photos. It's best to always have one's camera with one, isn't it?

  7. Maybe they think they have 9 lives like the cats do. Nice captures, Clytie.
Hope all is well with you and your Uncle too.

    be well, be happy :)
