Ginkgo Biloba Loses Leaves ...

The carpet of yellow leaves freshly fallen from the ginkgo biloba tree caught my eye.

I was drawn closer, and I realized most of the leaves had been on the ground for a while, collecting dew.

I was so mesmerized by the jeweled beauty
of the leaves, that I barely noticed the curious people in the cars that had to swerve around me in the parking lot. Most of them were smiling.

I am linking up with Beth's "FATuesday Artist Spotlight" - come on over and be inspired by all of the wonderful artists Beth found this week - and share YOUR art as well!
