Frosty Morning Beauty

Yesterday started out cold ...
The first frost of the winter season coated the world.

The patterns it created were diverse and amazing!

Then the sun came out ... the ice crystals began to melt.

Until they were once again droplets of water.

  1. At first glance I thought the flower was sugar coated.. reality check! you live Oregon, its snow!

Gorgeous macro shots, Clytie. I love them all.

Hugs n smiles across the miles,
    Pam i am :)

  2. ❤ Olá!
Passei para conhecer o seu blog.
    Suas fotografias são maravilhosas!!!
    Estou encantada.
    º° ♥ Boa semana, amiga!
    º°❤ Brasil

  3. Magical enchantment, how beautiful.

  4. Wonderful to see the frost and water drops sparkle in the sunlight. The ice formations in the second one are amazing!

  5. No frost here yet, but lots and lots and LOTS of water. Nice close-ups! I tried to get a close up of a flower today and blew it, so I am in awe :)

  6. It does look sugar coated. These are some of the most beautiful photos I've seen you take yet. They fill my eyes. These are amazing...just amazing, Sissy.

  7. Awesome shots, Clytie. I'm always in awe of your macro photos.
Jack frost refuses to visit this far south of the Mason Dixon line.. that's why we'er here.

    hugs and smiles,
    Pam i am :)
