Wild Ginger's Jealous Heart

Wild Ginger, Asarum canadense

I walked down into the woods to the lip of the canyon ... where the patch of Wild Ginger thrives.
I was followed by the darling cat Jae Jae.
I love the way the wild ginger leaves are shaped like delicate hearts.

This is where the 'jealous' part comes in.
Every time I stopped to take a picture, Jae Jae sat down - directly in the center of the shot!

  1. wow...pretty hearts! And a cool gray tail. :D

  2. Jae Jae sounds like my Cindi Lou, always wanting to be the center of attention. Great shot of hearts and kitty tail.

  3. That is a jealous tale of a heartfelt feline, Clytie.

  4. Oh, hahahaa--that is so cute! I love the Ginger hearts, and I adore the, er, jealous tale of a cat. lol
