Green Slime with Cottonwood Shadow

Due to the wet weather we've had this year, a lot of the puddles around are growing what I call "green slime" algea.

The shadow is from an overhanging cottonwood branch ... just beginning to leaf out ... a sure sign that Spring is indeed upon us!
