Not the one in my back yard ...
But I found one on the Metro property down the road.
Hawthorn (shrub)
Crataegus douglasii
(most common in our area)
They are late this year, usually flowering the second week of May.
My backyard hawthorn tree is, as of yesterday, nearly 2 weeks late to bloom.
Oh, such soft-looking, lovely blossoms. Wow!
ReplyDeletewhat an unusual and beautiful flower! I've never seen one like it!
